A short walk takes you to the center of New Hope, home of many four star restaurants and quaint antique shops. For those who want to blend history and entertainment, a leisurely ride on the historical New Hope train, a trip on the mule-drawn barge along the Delaware canal, or a visit to the landmark where Washington crossed the Delaware would meet your goal. All are within minutes of our inn. We are also close to three wineries that offer tours, educational information, and wine-tasting events daily throughout the year.

Moravian Pottery and Tile Words National Historic Landmark is maintained as a "working history" museum . Handmade tiles are still produced in a manner similar to that developed by the pottery's founder and builder, Henry Chapman Mercer (1856-1930). Mercer was a major proponent of the Arts & Crafts Movement in America. He directed the work at the pottery from 1898 until his death in 1930 website
